ADWAC (Agency for the Development of Women and Children) is a leading NGO in The Gambia dedicated to empowering vulnerable women, children, and marginalized communities. Founded with a commitment to sustainable development, ADWAC has been at the forefront of promoting social equity through innovative programs in agriculture, education, health, and economic empowerment. By partnering with local communities, we aim to create opportunities that uplift livelihoods, reduce poverty, and foster self-reliance. Development Philosophy
- Giving local people the opportunity to identify their own needs and to play an active role in addressing them through a holistic development programme in a way that is culturally sensitive and community-centred.

- It is an approach that gives all communities equal opportunity and access to a wide range of development choice visa a- vie health, education, agriculture, economic empowerment/production/ etc…
